How Whatnot fees work
8% commission on the sold price in most categories (Electronics 5%, Coins & Money 4%), plus 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing on the total the buyer pays, including shipping and tax.
- Since 14 January 2026, eligible categories (such as trading cards, comics, sports singles, toys, jewellery and watches) pay no commission on the part of an order above $1,500. Processing still applies to the full amount.
